Kootenai Rappel Crew

The Kootenai Rappellers are a 24-person crew of aerially delivered firefighters hosted by the Kootenai National Forest in Libby, Montana.  We specialize in initial attack of remote or otherwise inaccessible wildfires and have been delivering firefighters via rope and helicopter since 2016. We take great pride in our track record of safety, efficiency, and hard work.

We are committed to the training and advancement of our personnel, as they are the future of our organization. We work closely with our counterparts to accomplish mission objectives in a safe and timely manner and are flexible to the changing needs of our customers.
